Do you have an idea for a comic but don't know where to start? This 11-week course guides students of all skill levels through drafting, inking, publishing and tabling their own comics creations and culminates in the publication of an anthology book! Both traditional (pen and ink) and digital (Procreate, Photoshop) methods will be examined. We'll also look at DIY bookbinding and best practices for selling your work at Comic-Cons and arts events. This is your chance to hone your creative skills, network with local like-minded creators, and get your comic printed!
Course Creator Ryan Cassidy is a published comic author (Goldenrod Magzine, @DogAndTom), art instructor and guerilla self-publisher. He's been making and collecting comics since the 90's. You can check out his work at www.RyanCassidy.com
