Goldenrod Magzine (-sic)

(click image to open .pdf in a new tab)

A pseudo-anthology of Can-con underground comix printed at 7”x8.5” on 24 very yellow pages of comics with full colour covers. From single panel gags to mutli-page stories, Goldenrod Magzine (-sic) compiles the best of Ryan Cassidy’s comics. It’s the sordid chronicle of a publication riddled with bad managerial policy, goblins, transdimensional entities, big snack conspiracies, insidious art supplies retailers and a coterie of deranged denizens all vying for editorial purview over Donlon, Dingdongtario (an oh-so-clever pseudonym for London, Ontario).

Each issue of these limited edition books features specialty cover stock with a peek-a-boo circular window to reveal the index’s central graphic underneath. Several pages are double-printed and possess special authentication features ensuring each booklet is unique.

Gilles Goyette’s SUPER VOX

In the Spring of 2026, I was contracted to digitize a one-of-a-kind handmade book by late Toronto artist Gilles Goyette.
SUPER VOX is a massive 160-page poem written in tiny cursive handwriting in graphite pencil.
Great care was taken to reproduce the appearance of the original to the highest degree of fidelity.
More information about Goyette and his work can be found here.

The text is constrained to a two-inch wide column throughout the bulk of thebook. Sunglasses have been included for scale.

The book’s endpapers.
